KEY PERSONNEL

JACK FESSENDEN (writer, director, edit, score)
Jack Fessenden, recently cited as one of "11 Filmmakers 30 or Under You Need to Know" (Indiewire, June 2017) at age 17, is based in New York City. He finished his first feature film, STRAY BULLETS, during his sophomore year in High School. The film premiered at the Oldenburg International Film Festival in September 2016 and went on to be distributed by Screen Media Films in a 12-city release that included New York and LA. Starring James Le Gros and Kevin Corrigan, STRAY BULLETS was heralded by the Hollywood Reporter as a "strikingly impressive...blazingly confident debut" and by Slant Magazine as "[reducing] a stock scenario to its primal essence, informing genre blood sport with pulp transcendentalism." In addition to directing, writing, editing, and starring in the film, Jack also composed and performed its score, which is available on Lakeshore Records. Jack also plays in and produces for his punk rock band, "HOLIDAY," which has released three EPs and a studio album, all available on iTunes and Spotify. He shot FOXHOLE when he was 19; he will be a senior at Wesleyan University in the Fall of 2021.

LOIS DRABKIN (Casting) is a Casting Director who has worked extensively on a range of projects, most notably in independent film, including: the Sundance premieres NANCY, LISTEN UP PHILIP, RESTLESS CITY, NIGHT CATCHES US, and THE MISSING PERSON; the Independent Spirit Award acting-nominated features COLEWELL (Karen Allen), NANCY (J. Smith-Cameron) and GLASS CHIN (Marin Ireland); and the future releases of Indiewire Young Filmmaker to Watch Jack Fessenden’s FOXHOLE, and Harry Greenberger’s FARAWAY EYES, with Christina Ricci and Andy Karl. Additional credits include the first season of the 2014 Emmy-winning Showtime documentary series investigating climate change, YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY, and as part of the casting teams for Steven Spielberg’s WAR OF THE WORLDS, the acclaimed HBO series THE WIRE, and Michael Mann’s PUBLIC ENEMIES.  A member of the Casting Society of America, Lois has been nominated for multiple Artios Awards for Outstanding Casting.

COLLIN BRAZIE (Cinematography) is a Director of Photography who specializes in narrative and documentary films as well as branded content. He received his MFA (Film Production—Cinematography) from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University under Bill Dill, ASC. He has lensed a wide variety of projects, most notably the award-winning drama RETAKE and the upcoming NYC drama COME FIND ME. His other work includes an Emmy winning advertisement for the travel bureau of NYC and Emmy-nominated web shows for the CW and Hulu. His documentary and branded commercial work spans industries and locations, including numerous Fortune 500 companies across the country. Although typically behind the camera, Collin produces and directs projects for his company Closing Time Productions. His film RETAKE was acquired and distributed by Breaking Glass Pictures. After a theatrical debut in Los Angeles, the film has been released all over the world and is currently streaming on Amazon and Hulu. When not on set he enjoys traveling, photography, live music and watching the latest Criterion release. He is based in New York City. 

TIM BRUNO (Production Design) has worked in the art department of numerous independent productions shooting in Ulster County in the last decade, including production designing ANTARTICA, art directing BETTER ANGELS and prop mastering JACK GOES HOME and KISS OF THE DAMNED.

SARA ELISABETH LOTT (Costume Design) Sara got her start in film after moving to New York from Chicago in 2015. Utilizing her background in fashion design, she established herself as an assistant designer before designing costumes for short films and music videos. Some of her work in other costume roles include the Sundance nominated features BEACH RATS and WE THE ANIMALS. In between working on independent projects, Sara works as a set costumer in film and on television series. In 2017, she collaborated with filmmaker Larry Fessenden and designed the costumes for DEPRAVED, a unique and brilliant retelling of Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’.

LARRY FESSENDEN (producer) has served as producer on over 50 films, helping launch the careers of Kelly Reichardt, Ti West, Jim Mickle, Ilya Chaiken, Jenn Wexler, and many others. He is an award-winning writer/director and has acted in over 100 movies. He is the CEO of Glass Eye Pix.

ADAM SCHERR (producer) is a founding partner of the production shingle Nous Entertainment, now in its sixth year, which develops and finances film and TV projects. Nous Entertainment is founded on the double ROI theory: Provided a safe place where artists come and get a return on their inspiration and in tandem investors can receive a return on their investment—as we are strong believers that it’s not an either or.

JAMES FELIX McKENNEY (producer) is an independent filmmaker known for his unusual and innovative genre films including HYPOTHERMIA for Dark Sky Films, SATAN HATES YOU for Glass Eye Pix, and the critically acclaimed low-fi sci-fi film AUTOMATONS. Over the years, James has worked in live theatre, written, edited, and published comic books, created designer toys, hosted podcasts and radio shows, designed T-shirts, and more. Yet filmmaking continues to be his first and greatest love. McKenney's latest feature, WRACK, is currently in postproduction.

CHRIS INGVORDSEN (producer) Since 1982 J Christian Ingvordsen has written, produced and directed 25 feature films which have been released domestically and internationally through HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Universal Pictures, Columbia Pictures and more. Ingvordsen’s productions have starred Robert Mitchum, Shelley Winters, Telly Savalas, and Kathy Ireland amongst others. As a director, Ingvordsen worked with Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Danny Aiello, Martin Love, Dan Haggerty, Lance Henricksen, Robert Davi, Billy Drago, and many others.

Nous Entertainment teams lifelong small business entrepreneur Adam Scherr with seasoned Warner Bros VP of Studio Operations-Mark Roling. At its core, Nous is a content development company. Their 1st film was the well received and awarded FORBIDDEN CUBA, the 1st US feature film shot in Cuba since 1959. In 2019 right before the pandemic, Nous financed and produced FOXHOLE with Larry Fessenden and Glass Eye Pix. FOXHOLE, starring James LeGros and HALLOWEEN's Andi Matichak is making its US debut on October 1st at the Woodstock Film Festival. Scherr and Roling have developed quite a slate with directors Eduardo Sanchez (The THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, QUEEN OF THE SOUTH, Jay Chandrsekhar (SUPER TROOPERS 1 & 2), Melanie Mayron (In Treatment, Grace and Frankie, Jane The Virgin and many more). Jose Padilha (ROBOCOP '14, Narcos, etc), Jonathan Kessleman (HEBREW HAMMER), Cynthia Mort (Nina, Will and Grace and Roseanne), Legendary rock star-Alice Cooper and show runners-writers-Joe and Tony Gayton (Hell On Wheels). Their Irish animation project (THE WOLFKING AND I), in development with the British Film Institute goes into production Fall '21.
